Terms of Use

The ground rules.

Simple rules that keep GuiOut Luau fair and safe for everyone who builds with it.

Effective November 5, 2026 · Between you and Florida Brand (“we”, “us”).

By using GuiOut Luau (“the app”), its public library, credits or members' shop, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you get the app from the Mac App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies. If the two conflict, these terms win wherever the law allows.

1. Who can use it

You need to be at least 13, or old enough where you live to agree to these terms, or to have a parent or guardian's permission. Publishing to the community (profiles, showcases, library submissions and the shop) is only for people 13 and over.

2. Your work belongs to you

GUIs you make are yours, and so are the scripts the app writes for them. Use them in your Roblox games, commercial or not, with no credit to us required. The built-in components and their generated Luau are licensed to you for use in your own games.

3. The public library

  • Submitting a component to the free public library lets anyone using GuiOut Luau use, change and ship it in their games, free and forever. Only submit work you have the right to share.
  • Every submission is reviewed before it's public. Moderators, who may use AI tools, can fix bugs, improve quality, or change the category and description. You'll see what changed.
  • We may decline, change or remove items to keep the library safe and high quality.

4. Credits

Credits aren't switched on yet. When they are:

  • Credits are earned by watching optional clips, the daily bonus and badges. They can't be bought with real money.
  • Credits have no cash value. They can't be sold, swapped for money, or moved off your account, and they're not your property.
  • We can change how credits are earned or spent, and we can take back credits gained through bugs, cheating or abuse.

5. The members' shop

The shop isn't switched on yet. When it is:

  • Everything is reviewed first. Every item must be approved by our moderators before it can go on sale. Sellers must confirm they understand this when they submit.
  • What buyers get. Buying an item gives you the right to use and change it in your own games. You can't resell it or share it as a component.
  • Sellers' promise. Sellers confirm that they made the item or have the right to sell it, and that it contains nothing harmful.
  • Ratings and fees. Only buyers can rate an item, from 1 to 5 stars. We keep a small fee in credits from each sale; the current fee is shown when you list an item.
  • If we remove an item. We can remove items that break these terms. If something you bought is removed, you keep your copy unless it's harmful.

6. What's not allowed

Anywhere in GuiOut Luau (profiles, showcases, the library or the shop), don't post or share:

  • malware, or scripts that steal, exploit, backdoor or damage games, accounts or devices
  • content that breaks Roblox's rules, or that's hateful, sexual, violent, or harassing
  • other people's personal information
  • work you don't have the rights to
  • attempts to cheat credits, rig ratings, or get around a ban

7. Consequences

What happens depends on how serious the problem is:

SeverityExamplesWhat happens
LowMisleading names, minor quality problemsThe item is sent back with notes, and the seller may get a strike
MediumRisky scripts, content that breaks the rulesThe item is rejected, the seller gets a strike, and selling is suspended for 7 days
SevereMalware, backdoors, stealing accountsBanned from selling, and the account may be removed

Strikes expire after 90 days, except for severe ones. Three active strikes means a ban. If you think we got it wrong, email us and we'll take another look.

8. Things that aren't ours

Roblox and Roblox Studio are trademarks of Roblox Corporation; GuiOut Luau isn't made or endorsed by Roblox. When you use Roblox (including Open Cloud uploads), Roblox's terms apply. AI assistants you connect are covered by their own providers' terms.

9. No warranty

We work hard to make GuiOut Luau reliable, but it's provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Test everything in Roblox Studio before you publish your game. Back up your projects. Features may change; credits, ads and the shop will roll out over time.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Florida Brand isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or problems in games built with the app. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid for the app in the last 12 months or US $50.

11. Ending things

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end access to community features if you break these terms.

12. Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, the app will let you know before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, except where your local consumer protection law gives you more rights.
