Getting it into Roblox
How do I put my GUI into Roblox Studio?
Choose File → Export to Roblox (⌘E). You get YourGui.rbxmx and, if your GUI uses game systems like shops or rebirths, YourGuiServer.rbxmx. In Studio, right-click StarterGui → Insert from File… and pick the GUI file, then right-click ServerScriptService → Insert from File… and pick the server file. Press Play.
Why don't coins, pets or purchases save?
Saving uses Roblox DataStores, which only work in a published place. Publish the place, then in Game Settings → Security turn on Enable Studio Access to API Services to test saving in Studio.
A Robux purchase doesn't do anything
Set your Developer Product or Game Pass id on that component in the inspector. Products are made on the Roblox Creator Dashboard under your experience's Monetization tab.
It looks different on phones
Use the screen menu in the toolbar to preview phone and tablet sizes. Turn on shrink-to-fit for a page so it scales down cleanly on small screens.
Uploads and AI
How do I upload images to Roblox?
Open Settings (⌘,) → Roblox Uploads and follow the steps to create an Open Cloud API key with the Assets permission. The key is stored in your Mac's Keychain and only ever sent to Roblox. New uploads may take a moment while Roblox reviews them.
How do I connect Claude or Codex?
Open Settings → AI Assistant, turn it on, and click Connect next to Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. GuiOut Luau backs up each app's settings file first. Restart the AI app, then ask it to build something. The connection only works on your Mac.
Library and community
How do I share a component with everyone?
Right-click your component in Mine and choose Submit for Public Review…. Pick a category and tick the acknowledgement. Once it's approved, it appears in the public library for everyone.
My submission was sent back or changed
Moderators fix bugs or tidy items up before publishing, and you'll see the notes on the item. If you disagree with a decision, email us and we'll take another look.
How do I report something harmful?
Use Report on the profile, showcase item or listing, or email us with a link or screenshot. We take malware and unsafe scripts very seriously.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. The app first shows which of your GUIs will be donated to the free public library, so you can delete any you want to keep private. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's removed.
I want a copy of my data
Email tom@florida-brand.com from the address you'd like the reply sent to. We'll answer within 30 days.
What are credits? Can I buy them?
Credits are coming in a future update. You'll earn them from optional clips, a daily bonus and badges. They can never be bought with money.
